The winner for the grand prize of the 2016 Dream Home Lottery has been chosen.
Joe Woods, from Whitney, New Brunswick, southwest of Miramichi won the fully furnished $720,000 home in Moncton’s Royal Oaks subdivision.

He now has to choose between taking that home, plus $100,000 cash, or a straight cash prize of $750,000.
Woods’ ticket was chosen out of the 22,861 that were sold.
As well, the winner of the 50/50 draw was announced as Roger LeBlanc from Bouctouche, who is taking home $191,400.

The proceeds from the annual lottery go to the CHU Dumont and Friends of the Moncton Hospital foundations.
