Opposition leader Blaine Higgs isn’t ready to let Premier Brian Gallant off the hook for the inflated property tax assessments just yet. Auditor-General Kim MacPherson put the blame on Service New Brunswick but Higgs says there’s still a lot of vagueness about who said what to whom.
Higgs would like to see the former C-E-O of Service New Brunswick, the director of modernisation and the Premier’s chief of staff questioned under oath. He claims says there are lot of open ended questions but they all point back to the Premier’s office.
