A new bulk waste collection program is about to get underway in Moncton.
The program will replace what has been known as spring clean-up.
On March 4th, residents will be able to dispose of bulk waste items on a rotating five-week cycle in their neighbourhoods. The new program will provide the service by request, and must be scheduled prior to the collection day.
Direct or of Public Works with the City of Moncton Don Morehouse says this new program will be more cost effective and will better meet the needs of residents over the long term.
