High school students in Metro Moncton have been challenged to grab a shovel and start digging.
Breagh Wadden is a student at Bernice MacNaughton High School who started a Facebook page called “High School Helping Hands” and she has issued her first challenge…
“This is a challenge to all students in the Greater Moncton area to see which school can clear the most fire hydrants. Then they can tie a ribbon with their school colours on the marker post to identify which school cleared which fire hydrants.”
She says Bernice MacNaughton is currently in the lead with the most cleared fire hydrants.
Students from Moncton High have cleared a few but Wadden says they haven’t had any posts on the Facebook page from any other high schools.
