Moncton residents are adjusting to a new bulk waste collection system in the city.
It went into effect today.
Zone 1 residents, which are in the west end of the city are the first to be able to use it.
The new system allows pick up 10 times a year, as opposed to once, during what was called the spring cleanup week collection.
The new program divides the city into five zones, and to schedule a pick-up, residents have to call in to a special phone number, or go onto the city’s website to submit a form.
