A local chef is teaming up with the Moncton Beer League to banish the winter blues with great food and beer.
Moncton Beer League Founder Amber Richards says the event is a collaboration between the league and Chopped Canada Winner Chef Matthew Pennell.
Pennell is the chef of Legends restaurant at the Moncton Coliseum and he’s created a four course menu, including amuse bouche, appetizer, main and dessert.
Richards says each course will be accompanied by a different craft beer, as well as a beer when you arrive, what she’s calling a “welcome beer.”
Funds raised will go towards the Moncton SPCA.
Richards says the event will take place March 21st at the Legends Restaurant in the Coliseum.
