A trial for a Harrison Trimble High School teacher charged with sex offences will continue today in a Moncton courtroom.
A jury of eight men and four women was selected yesterday morning in the trial for 42 year old WIlliam MacGillivray.
The first witness, who is the alleged victim took the stand testifying that she visited MacGillivray’s house ten times between March and November of 2013. She told the court that on three of those visits, there was sexual contact involved.
MacGillivray is facing several charges including sexual exploitation and child luring.
Five days have been set aside for the trial.
