Have you ever visited Prince Edward Island and eaten a lobster supper at St. Ann’s, located in Hope River?
The homemade pies, and salads, along with lobster dipped in warm butter? We have unfortunate news this morning, they are shutting down their lobster suppers.
St. Ann’s has been offering lobster suppers since 1964, as a means to raise money for the church.
The bad news was posted on their Facebook page this week. The post has been flooded with comments from patrons across the country who
have visited the church over the years, stating that they will means St. Ann’s hospitality and great food.
Parishioners at the church says the cost to operate the lobster suppers was growing, and their numbers were dropping.
