Midlife upgrade projects for four schools in the province will be done as a part of the education funding announced by the provincial government.
A study will be done to determine what needs to be done at Bessborough School in Moncton to give it a 30 year life extension.
The provincial government is also investing inĀ preliminary work necessary to make upgrades and repairs to Salisbury Elementary School.
A building assessment study will be carried out at the school to identify building components requiring repair or upgrade and to confirm a cost estimate for the work.
Salisbury Elementary School was built in 1947 and accommodates more than 300 students from kindergarten to Grade 4.
A midlife upgrade project will also be done at Polyvalente Louis-J.-Robichaud in Shediac.
