Two new NB Liquor stores are being planned for Moncton and both will be located in the north end of the city.
One store is now being built next to Sobeys on Elmwood Drive while construction of the other store at 1780 Mountain Road is not expected to start until next month pending approval from the city planning department.
NB Liquor spokesperson Mark Barbour says the new stores will be larger and more customer-friendly.
“The interior is updated, has improved layout, new racks, new built-in Growler bar, new wine-tasting station as well as a cocktail station which allows customers to interact with staff and sample products and ask all kinds of questions,” says Barbour.
The possible opening dates for both new stores are not yet known.
