The number of children being diagnosed with autism is growing.
In Greater Moncton, many families rely on the Autism Resource Centre for information.
Volunteer Lori Meunier says tomorrow is National Autism Awareness Day and they’ll also host their first ever walk to raise awareness and donations for the centre.
“If anyone wants to get involved definitely. It’s an autism awareness walk but you certainly don’t have to have autism to join us. We are going to have a lot of community helpers who are coming in to show their support and meet all of the families,” she notes.
The walk begins Saturday at 10-am at the Moncton Press Club.
