Trailer Park Boys’ Actor Mike Smith issuing a statement regarding his misdemeanour domestic battery charge on Friday in LA.
Smith was arrested for allegedly pinning woman against a wall at a hotel in Hollywood.
Georgia Ling, described the victim in the incident, says the argument was heavy, but at no time did she feel she was in danger, otherwise she would have called the police herself.
Ling says “police were called by others not present in the room who mistakenly perceived the argument to be something other than what it was”.
She says when officers arrived she tried to assure them there was “no real issue, but they proceeded to arrest Mike”.
Smith calls the incident a “loud and heated dispute. That is all”.
He says he is not guilty of the misdemeanour charge against him.
Trailer Park Boy’s actress Lucy Decoutere took to twitter to announce she was resigning from the show.
