The corner of Morton Avenue and McLaughlin Drive in northeast Moncton will soon become home to a shopping plaza and two more apartment buildings.
Work has begun on McLaughlin Place with nine acres of land being developed at the busy intersection.
Brian Steeves, president of Seville Property Group, says the builders are a few weeks behind due to bad weather.
“Due to last week getting the snow and it was a wet week, they (the builders) didn’t want to move the heavy equipment around the site,” he notes.
Pharmasave and Guacamole Mexican Food are two tenants who have been confirmed for the new plaza which is expected to open by late summer.
