Ten educators in the Anglophone sector across the province received a reputable award this week, honouring the work they do.
From Anglophone East, Charlotte Love from Riverview High School and Maria Gillis of Unicorn Children’s Centre were both presented with the Minister’s Excellence in Education Award.
Education and Early Childhood Development Minister Brian Kenny says these awards are presented to educators each year for those who have shown outstanding commitment, enthusiasm and leadership in educating young people.
This is the first year that early childhood educators have been included to be recognized.

Anglophone East School District:
- Charlotte Love, Riverview High School

- Patricia Gallagher, Saint John High School
- Olivia Donovan, Hampton High School
- Heather Hamilton, Hamilton Homestyle Daycare and Club House
Anglophone West School District:
- William Davidson, Woodstock High School
- Molly Brown, Perth Andover Middle School
- Bruce Van Stone, Central New Brunswick Academy
