Thousands of fans gathered at the River Glen Amphitheatre on Saturday for the Moncton region’s only outdoor rock concert of the summer – Labour Day Rockfest.
The show featured rock artists spanning the decades with headliner Burton Cummings along with the Stampeders, Sass Jordan, Gowan and Nazareth.
Security officials said there were no major issues.
This was the first concert at the Salisbury Road site with some fans on social media calling it a great venue and hoped to see another show there.
Several organizations including the Greater Moncton SPCA and the Humanity Project had volunteers on hand to help support the show.
