A senior petroleum analyst says a dramatic hike in gas prices is expected for drivers in New Brunswick this week.
Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com says gas prices could jump between 9 and 13 cents per litre at midnight when the provincial regulator makes its weekly adjustment.
Diesel is expected to climb about 4 cents per litre.
Fuel prices have been climbing across the country in the last week after refineries shut down in the Southeastern U.S. following Hurricane Harvey.
