A grade 11 student from Moncton is heading to Ottawa next month to attend the national Remembrance day service.
Megan Miller, who is a student at Bernice MacNaughton High, submitted an essay in this year’s Royal Canadian Legion annual poster and literary contest.
Her essay was chosen for first prize in the senior essay category, which is students in grade 10, 11 and 12
While Miller is attending the Remembrance Day ceremony, she will also place a wreath on behalf of the youth of Canada…and will also have an opportunity to meet the Governor General.
Her essay will also be displayed at the Canadian War Museum.
