There will be a lot of rushing around tonight, for those who haven’t full prepared themselves for the arrival of the ghosts and goblins for Halloween tomorrow night.
If you are still looking for the perfect costume for your little one, there are things you can keep in mind for safety sake.
Make sure your child’s costume is loose enough to be worn over warm clothing, but not baggy enough that they might trip on it.
Brightly coloured costumes are a good idea, so you child can be clearly seen by motorists, and add reflective tape to increase visibility.
Choose make up instead of masks, because masks can sometimes interfere with your child’s vision or breathing.
Also ensure that your child’s costume is flame resistant, long skirts, baggy sleeves and over sized costumes can be a hazard around the open flame in a jack-o-lantern.
