The unemployment rate for the country as a whole rose to 6.3 per cent in spite of a surge in fulltime employment and addition of 35 thousand jobs.
The unemployment rate in New Brunswick last month stayed the same at 7.8 per cent with the addition of 14 hundred full time jobs and 800 part time.
The unemployment rate in Saint John rose from 5.7 to 6.4 per cent and in Moncton from 5.6 up to 5.8 per cent.
