Women in New Brunswick have a chance to be heard.
The New Brunswick Women’s Council wants to hear directly from women across the province and from the organizations that support them and advocate for them.
The first public engagement initiative is called Resonate. Beth Lyons is Executive Director of the council and says they are using several methods to connect with women including an online survey and one day event in Fredericton. The women who fill out the survey are being asked what they see impacting the women they work with.
Lyons says they want to find out what women are experiencing, what ideas they have and just to hear from the women of New Brunswick in order to shape the council’s future priorities. More than 800 women have filled out the survey so far.
