Thousands of people packed the downtown of Moncton last night for the 51st annual Royale Greater Moncton Santa Claus Parade.
Around 100 floats were part of the spectacle, including a stop by Santa and Mrs. Claus in front of City Hall.
This parade, the largest east of Montreal, is believed to draw about 100,000 spectators every year.
This year, the theme was Christmas Then and Now, in honour of Canada 150, and a fireworks show from Moncton City Hall wowed those in attendance.
