The Liberals continue to be the preferred political party in New Brunswick with voter support remaining stable according to a new poll from Corporate Research Associates.
The survey shows 47 percent support for the Liberals, 28 percent for the Progressive Conservatives, 11 percent for the NDP, the Greens had 9 percent and the People’s Alliance had 2 percent.
Meantime, almost one-half of residents polled are satisfied with the government’s performance.
Liberal Premier Brian Gallant continues to be the preferred party leader at 32 percent, Progressive Conservative leader Blaine Higgs captured 18 percent support and Green Party leader David Coon had 9 percent.
CRA contacted 800 New Brunswick adults by telephone during the month of November.
