A 43-year old New Brunswick man has been sentenced to eight years in prison, minus time served, for drug offences.
Danny Borris of Kedgwick was arrested in October 2016 after officers with a warrant searched his home, turning up a significant quantity of drugs.
They found large quantities of furanyl-fentanyl, meth, cocaine, and hallucinogenic mushrooms.
They also seized firearms, a bullet proof vest, two ATVs and a trailer.
A second man was arrested at the scene.
61-year old Jean-Yves Borris, also of Kedgwick, was charged with four counts of possession of illegal drugs and goes to trial in May of next year.
On December 6th, 2017 Danny Borris pleaded guily to four charges of possession of furanyl-fentanyl, meth, cocaine, and psilocybin (hallucinogenic mushrooms) for the purpose of trafficking.
He also pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of cannabis resin.
