This follows a provincewide Sexual Crimes Review. Canada’s national average of unfounded complaints was over 19 per cent but New Brunswick had the highest rate at 32 per cent. The audit discovered all municipal and regional police departments, to varying degrees, incorrectly applied the unfounded code.
