Skiers are celebrating the snow after the third snowstorm in a week. This is also great news for Poley Mountain.
General Manager Bill Anderson says the season started off okay, but then the weather was very inconsistent.
“First part of the season, we made a lot of snow. Great temperatures, we were able to go for seven or eight days straight. But then once we hit the middle of January, it was just a night here, and a night there.”
He did point out that they were open more this year than they were last year.
@PoleyMountainNB is open 10-9 today w 25+ cm of snow received & more on the way. 29 trails r open & 4 lifts (Alpine incl). Most trails r machine groomed while others will be left natural. 4-hour lift tickets available today & our after 4pm special of $10 lift tix & $10 rentals.

Anderson hopes the recent storms and the snow that has fallen will help take them through until the end of the season on April 2nd.
“There are a lot of people who didn’t get to ski most of the season, but they’re hitting the slopes, and we’re really happy about March because we’re getting some really good conditions.”
