Codiac RCMP have charged a man in connection with the theft of a vehicle on May 7th.
Officers say around 10 o’clock Monday night they responded to a call of a vehicle stolen from Trinity Drive.
The owner had stopped in a parking lot to check something in the trunk, when a man got into the driver’s seat.
The RCMP say the victim tried to pull the man out of the vehicle but was pushed to the ground and suffered minor injuries.
The vehicle and suspect were found a short time later in Dieppe.
37-year old Troy Jeffers is facing a charge of robbery with violence, and will remain in jail until his next court appearance Thursday.
