A team from the Armed Forces will be conducting a reconnaissance mission to figure out if and how it may be able to help in the wake of historic flooding in southern New Brunswick.
That announcement has been made by premier Brian Gallant and the request came through the provincial government.
The province says a military liaison officer has been working full time with the provincial EMO.
Meantime, a coordinated approach for the volunteer efforts is being planned and more information on that is going to be available soon.
Gallant says as flood recovery begins to take precedence, continued support will be required.
