If you’re heading to Centennial Park this Sunday, don’t worry about changing out of your PJ’s. Wear them and offer support to the Ronald McDonald House.
The 2nd annual PJ’s Walk for Kids will be held in Moncton on June 10th from 9am until 11am.
Ashley, who is from Moncton, spent a lot of time at the House in Halifax, while her son was being cared for at the IWK Hospital, “We utilized the Ronald McDonald room at the Hospital and we were very thankful that we utilized the apartments as well. It gave us a place to call home during Zaccari’s long wait for a kidney transplant It definitely helps families who have to deal with a sick child, and it definitely helped our family in that situation where we couldn’t afford to relocate.”
She says having a home cooked meal when you’re away from home means a lot, “It was definitely a time where we could just sit back and socialize with other families who were going through a similar situation.”
