A number of family events are underway in Greater Moncton to mark the holiday.
In Moncton, children’s activities at Resurgo Place will continue until 5pm.
A concert featuring New Brunswick talent will be held this evening from 6 until 9pm at Moncton City Hall.
In Dieppe, you will find festivities and refreshments at Rotary St-Anselme Park until 2pm featuring an Amazing Race-type event.
In Riverview, the Pat Crossman Memorial Aquatic Centre and Lion Ken Gabbey Community Pool are both open today if you’re looking to cool off.
The official New Brunswick Day celebration is being held in Fredericton this year.
