Flags across the province are flying at half staff around the province today, as a result of today’s tragedy in Fredericton.
Speaker Chris Collins confirmed to us that the flags at the New Brunswick Legislature have been lowered today.
In light of the horrible news coming out of Fredericton, I have ordered all flags to half mast on Legislative grounds.

The City of Moncton is also flying its flags at half staff.
A statement on social media today from the City says Quote-“This morning’s events in Fredericton may have brought back all-too-familiar sensations/reactions to what Moncton went through in 2014. Please reach out for support, and keep an eye out for loved ones.”
