Severe thunderstorms rolled through Southeastern New Brunswick this afternoon.
The Bend listeners in the Cap-Pele area posted photos and videos with nickel and toonie-sized hail and strong winds.
Environment Canada says radar observations indicated wind gusts near 90 km/h, hail about 2 cm or larger in diameter along with heavy downpours.
Greater Moncton escaped the storm cells this afternoon which were moving south and east of the city heading toward central Prince Edward Island.
Severe thunderstorm watches and warnings have since been dropped for the region.
