The Leader of the People’s Alliance Party was looking for one key item in the speech from the throne and he did not see it, a solution to ambulance wait times and the paramedic shortage.
Kris Austin says the Liberals are looking to have an all-party review of the paramedic situation by mid-December and then issue a report.
” We are not interested in reviews when it comes to the paramedic crisis, the last thing we need is another review to go into the great government warehouse of reviews, we need action,” stated Austin.
The Leader says his caucus members will now have to decide if they will be supporting the throne speech or vote against it.
