Higgs says they discussed the challenges facing New Brunswick.
“I said I was humbled by this experience, I’m humbled by the outcome of the election and the fact that I am standing here before you right now. It’s going to be a joint effort not only in the Legislature.” Higgs said.
“The elections results have provided a very unique opportunity in time for New Brunswick to be better.”
Higgs says he expects the throne speech may take place sometime around November 20th.
Congratulations to @BlaineHiggs on being asked to form the next government in New Brunswick! Our blue wave is defeating Liberals across the country. Let’s work together to help make life more affordable in New Brunswick – starting with scrapping Trudeau’s carbon tax! #nbpoli
