YMCA ReConnect, and the Salvus Clinic are continuing to accept donations of needed items for the Out of the Cold emergency shelter which opened this weekend at the old fire hall on Assomption Boulevard.
Items like winter jackets, hats, mittens or gloves, as well as winter boots are some of the winter weather gear they still need.
Other accepted items include laundry soap, and hygiene products.
Donations of non perishable, individually wrapped snacks, as well as coffee and tea would be welcomed, as would 5 or 10 dollar gift cards to local restaurants and coffee shops.
Item donations will be accepted between 8 and 4 weekdays, while financial contributions should be made through the Salvus Clinic and YMCA ReConnect websites.
MONETARY DONATIONS
Monetary donations will be accepted through the Salvus Clinic (salvusclinic.com) or YMCA ReConnect (moncton.ymca.ca) directly.
