Around 10:20 Friday morning, Codiac RCMP were called to an attempted armed robbery at the Bank of Montreal location on Coverdale Road in Riverview.
Staff Sergeant Mario Fortin was only able to provide limited details at this time because the investigation is still in its early stages.
“It’s still under investigation, at this point nobody got hurt, no money was exchanged, and like I said, nobody has been arrested so far,” says Fortin.
He adds they’re following leads now, and will reach out to the public for help identifying the suspect if they need it.
