Miramichi Police say they have received information that a missing inmate from the Dorchester Prison was possibly seen in Miramichi last Friday.
Jack Dennis Woods, age 66, is unlawfully at large from Dorchester Minimum Security Facility, where he was serving time for a 1976 manslaughter conviction.
Further to this, there was a report of him being seen hitch hiking on Route 11 In Neguac this morning.
This morning’s report indicated that he is now bearded. Woods is also missing both of his little fingers.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Police.
