Marty Kingston To Run As Moncton Councillor-at-Large

A well known broadcaster and marketing professional is hoping to become a Councillor at Large for Moncton.

Marty Kingston has announced his intentions to run in the May 11th municipal election.

A strong communicator and public speaker in both official languages,  Marty says he has enjoyed working with the public his entire life, “I’ve been engaging with people through my careers in media and the private sector and eagerly look forward to serving and working for the great citizens of Moncton.”

Kingston says Moncton’s growth and prosperity are important, but addressing the growing homeless, drug addiction and mental health issues are as well.

He says public safety remains a top priority.

Kingston has a two decade long career as a sports and news reporter, including as a play by play Announcer for the Moncton Wildcats.

“I look forward to working with the next mayor and council to build on Moncton’s success,” Kingston says.
