If you are planning a trip to Prince Edward island once the Atlantic Bubble is made official tomorrow, a self declaration form is required.
Chief Health Officer for PEI Dr. Heather Morrison says it can now be found online, “Each person who is travelling into PEI, so these are residents of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland, they will be required to submit a self declaration. Public Health Officials will be verifying travellers at the point of entry. We are asking people to print off that self declaration if at all possible.”
Applicants are being encouraged to apply no more than one or two days ahead of time before coming to PEI, “This really has to do with the questions being asked about if you are feeling well or if you have had contact with anyone who may have had COVID,” Dr. Morrison says.
Public health officials in New Brunswick have not stated yet, whether a similar form will be required to cross over into this province yet.
The Atlantic Bubble will allow residents in Atlantic Canada to visit the four provinces without self isolating.
