The former CEO of NB Liquor has been nominated to run for the Progressive Conservatives in the riding of Moncton East.
Daniel Allain is currently a Dieppe city councillor and sits on the Codiac Regional Policing Authority board.
Allain has previously worked in the premier’s office under both David Alward and Bernard Lord.
He grew up in the Lewisville area and works for the Bank of Montreal.
If elected, he promises to be a strong voice for seniors and an advocate for projects like schools, daycares, road improvements and a new hospice.
Liberal candidate Monique LeBlanc is the incumbent in Moncton East.
