Riverview High School is closed today after a shooting incident on school property on Tuesday evening.
One man suffered non-life threatening injuries.

A letter was issued to Riverview High School parents yesterday evening from Principal Jason Reath, stating that the incident occurred on school property.
Education Support teams were coordinating a response for students who need it, and more information is expected to be sent out to Riverview High families this morning.
At around 7:20a, Wednesday morning, the Anglophone East School District made the decision to keep all schools closed for the day.
Francophone South closed schools in Moncton, Dieppe and Memramcook.
Twenty-four-year old Janson Bryan Baker was arrested by RCMP in Nova Scotia, around 19 hours after the shooting investigation began.

This evening after dismissal there was a serious incident that occurred on our school property involving a non-life-threatening injury. RCMP were immediately notified and responded.
We continue to work with the RCMP and follow their guidance and direction. Riverview High School will be closed for classes tomorrow. Our Education Support Services Team will be coordinating a response for students to access supports. More information about accessing supports will be sent home in the morning.
