Another name will appear on the municipal election ballot in May for the role of Mayor of Moncton.
Erik Gingles reaffirmed his intentions yesterday.
He previously announced his plans before the election was postponed in 2020.
Some of Gingles priorities include finding solutions for rising crime in neighbourhoods, climate change and the aging population, as well as affordable housing and creating job opportunities.
Gingles is a longtime Moncton resident and has been a part of the business community for the past 20 years.
He also runs a local media company, that focuses on the community.
