Two separate collisions resulted in a total of nine vehicles involved in pileups in Dieppe on Amirault Street.
As a result, areas surrounding the Dieppe marsh have been blocked until weather conditions improve.
According to Marc Cormier, District Chief of the Dieppe Fire Department, the incidents were caused by the decreased visibility and slick road conditions.
Multiple people were sent to the hospital, though injuries are believed to be minor.
The New Brunswick RCMP released a weather warning via social media.
Due to the poor weather, TRAVEL IS NOT RECOMMENDED on the Dieppe Marsh at Amirault St. High winds are reducing visibility in some areas to nil and causing drifting snow. #CodiacRCMP
