There is still a vacant chair with the Anglophone East District Education Council.
Applications are being accepted if you’d like to fill it.
Subdistrict 5 was without an elected member after the municipal elections in May.
Norval McConnell was the previous member, but he did not reoffer.
This successful applicant will represent Hillcrest, Bessborough, Edith Cavell and Harrison Trimble High.
Applicants must be:
• 18 years of age and a Canadian citizen
• A resident of Moncton Subdistrict 5
The following persons are not eligible to be considered:
• Employees of Anglophone East School District
• Employees of the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development
• Other persons in support areas such as social services, health services, psychology and guidance
• A person who has been disqualified from holding an elected office under federal, provincial, or municipal election laws
