A surfer who has cruised the tidal bore for the past nine years is excited for the opening of the new causeway bridge.
Melvin Perez has combined his love for the Petitcodiac River and music together and has written a song about it.
He worked with a Riverview Musician/Producer John Maher on the single called “The Bridge”
He also released a music video with the help of local filmaker Colleen Furlotte.
Perez, who is originally from Costa Rica, says this helps to celebrate a new connection between Moncton and Riverview that will bring the Petitcodiac River back to its original glory.
