After an over two year hiatus due to the pandemic, the 73rd annual Shediac Lobster Festival returns bigger and better.
Nine days of festivities are planned from July 2 to 10th.
They will include concerts, amusement rides and other children’s activities.
Due to restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was impossible to welcome Campbell Amusements in 2020 and 2021.
The fair will return with Campbell Amusements from July 6 to 10, 2022.
For running enthusiasts, on Sunday, July 3, take part in the very first edition of the Claw Run, the official race of The Shediac Lobster Festival. Two course distance options will be presented: 10K and 5K.
Kickball fans will be delighted as the beloved Maurice Leger Memorial Kickball Tournament will be presented at Parlee Beach on July 2nd.
For the cycling fanatics: the GranFondo will depart from the iconic big lobster on Sunday, July 10.
Finally, athletes who prefer to enjoy the sand and ocean water of Parlee Beach can take part in a beach volleyball tournament presented by Volleyball NB on the last two days of the Shediac Lobster Festival.
The New Brunswick Youth Orchestra and the Tutta Musica Orchestra land in Shediac for the presentation of a magnificent show, bringing together 70 instrumentalists to present a unique show, never seen in New Brunswick: A concert with NBYO, the Tutta Musica Orchestra, and Acadian Leading Ladies; Izabelle, Dominique Dupuis, Troiselle. A must-see show under the main Festival tent on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at 6:00 p.m.
