For the first time since the pandemic, Canada Day is being celebrated in-person in Greater Moncton with lots of activities for the whole family.
At Riverfront Park in Moncton, the Kids’ Playzone will feature inflatable games, face painting, a water slide along with a variety of vendors.
Bring along your bike to join the O’Can You Cycle Bike Ride which begins at noon behind the Moncton Press Club and decorated bikes are being encouraged.
The Riverfront stage will feature family-friendly entertainment in the afternoon including a magician.
The Elsipogtog Mik’maq Cutlural Centre will have a tent where you can learn more about Mik’maq culture.
Staff from Resurgo Place will be offering educational activities including a presentation on the Tidal Bore at 12:24 p.m.
Several acts including 1755 will be on the Whoa Canada! Main Stage before Juno-award winner Colin James performs.
Festivities in Dieppe will be centred in Rotary St-Anselme Park while Caseley Park is home to the celebrations in Riverview.
To top off the day, the tri-communities fireworks show along the riverfront at 10 p.m. will officially mark Canada’s 155th birthday.
