It would be a great day to go for a swim – except at two popular beaches in New Brunswick along the Northumberland Strait.
The Department of Health says Parlee Beach and Murray Beach are not suitable for swimming today due to high levels of bacteria.
A warning is issued for beaches when bacteria levels exceed a certain threshold.
Elsewhere in the province, a no swimming advisory has also been posted for Oak Bay Provincial Park near St. Stephen and Meenan’s Cove Beach in Quispamsis.
