A golden goal to seal the win in dramatic fashion for Canada at the World Juniors in Halifax.
Dylan Guenther scored the game-winning goal in overtime as Canada defeated Czechia 3-2.
It came after the home team carried a 2-0 lead into the final period.
However, two quick goals from Czechia to tie the game left everyone watching at the rink and at home stunned.
The Canadians remained poised and got the winner just over five minutes into OT.
“The perfect way to end an amazing tournament in two great Maritime cities. Thanks everyone and thanks to all the teams and visitors!!” said Halifax Mayor Mike Savage after the tournament.
This is the 20th time Canada has won gold at the annual junior hockey tournament.
