Hockey enthusiasts will get to experience thrilling men’s under-20 international action in December.
Team Slovakia and Team Germany face off in two separate exhibition games in Moncton and Charlottetown.
It is in preparation for the 2025 IIHF World Juniors taking place in Ottawa from Dec. 26 to Jan. 5.
Team Slovakia played in Moncton as part of Pool B of the 2023 World Juniors.
“It’s exciting to see them return to face Team Germany, and we expect the same enthusiastic support from our community,” Bill Whalen, co-chair of the Events Moncton Committee, said in a news release.
“These exhibition games are a great opportunity to continue the passion for junior hockey in Moncton as we continue to build on our city’s growing legacy of hosting major international events.”
The first exhibition game will take place in Charlottetown on the evening of Dec. 12.
That will be followed by the Moncton game at the Avenir Centre at 2 p.m. on Dec. 15.
