Do not be surprised to see emergency vehicles at the Irving Energy Bulk Plant on Roy Brown Street in Moncton.
An emergency preparedness exercise is scheduled to take place at the facility from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Irving Oil will be joined by local emergency response organizations for the exercise, the company said in a news release.
“Planned exercises are part of our standard operating procedures across our company, where the safety of our people, our communities and the environment is a core value and top priority,” said the release.
The majority of the planned activities will take place on-site, according to the company.
